How lite is your M-sled

and most of that was the electronic reverse

Even if you go to the DD lite, it's only 11 lbs off (plus servo). MBMS is correct in that figure of 8 lbs, it's on the low side of 7 plus the servo which was about a lb if I recall.

You can see the figures right on bdx's website.
"New for 07' - UP M's and Crossfire is our Diamond Lite Drive system that takes off a true11 lbs (07'-08') 4lbs (09') of unwanted weight"

If you're going to do weight loss mods, weigh the old compared to the new so you can have a real comparison. The advertised numbers are all rounded up from any of the aftermarket companies, if you listen to them, and you have 15 mods, you could be off by almost 10 lbs. In all the mods I did, there was one mod from Bdx that saved a little more than they claimed (xxlbs+ 5oz if I recall, can't find my list right now) all the rest were very close or rounded up.

Dude can u post the breakdown of your 80+lbs weight loss to date? That'd be killer. You either have more done to it that what's posted or I'm rounding the wrong numbers in my head. Thanx in advance. I'm thinking what you've posted to be about 60 actual lbs compared to what is actually advertised....am I wrong?

ok i will give it a shot...we are stock for the o7/141 480 lbs

oil delete...8lbs(thats including the gallon of oil gone...yep you can say its in the tank but stock its in its own tank plus the weight of gas in the tank)...power valve delete...2.5 lbs...bdx bumper kit with led light vs stock..2.5 lbs...timbersled intake...7 lbs...mesh hood ...15 lbs...timbersled rear skid...25 lbs....jaws can...12 lbs...boss seat from o7 stock seat..12 lbs..

so thats around 84 lbs give or take abit here or there..so i think im safe at taking 75 lbs giving a 9 pound margin by stating 405...and easily hitting 385 with the future ddlite and barkbuster..???..so i think im closer to my estimate then possibly your 60...unless i really got something wrong..??...and im not including the lighter bmp pipe..???

bet you that thing is some serious fun!!!! bet your given those turbo boys something to think about with numbers lke 385

well like i said..i think around 405 right now but 385 with the ddlite and barkbuster to be added...bt yep its fun now...but the new boss noss system will be the cats meow...??...i won;t worry to many turbo guys..the odd pump gas turbo on occasion i would think though..but race gas turbos...no way...but im still burning 91 octane though..:face-icon-small-win

myself and others are running 8-10lbs of boost on a pump M8, no deto

sorry to fog up this thread with facts:face-icon-small-coo

ok ok, maybe a splash of race so it smells better:face-icon-small-hap

i would consider the turbo option...but somethings i have to consider...100 yards out my front door i have a huge lake..surrounded by several mountains...l sled alone and i can go all winter and only ever see three people..and my wife likes to see me back home at night..so i just want to give those turbos a bit more time so they aint the reason i have to sleep overnight in a snow cave..
