How lite is your M-sled

I would like to get my M to 425-430 I have a 162 2.5, diamond lite, mesh hood, timbersled front and rear suspension, boss seat. I'm not done building the sled yet, so I can't weight it but what do you think? its a 07.

mine is at 405 right now...07/m8 141.....mesh hood..oil delete...stm valves...timbersled intake..900 ported bigbore..bmp pipe...jaws can..boss shorty seat..bdx rear bumper kit..timbersled rear skid..when i get the timbersled frt barkbuster and the bdx dd lite i will be at 385..

07 m1000 162 stock is 530 lbs dry, stock hood-to mesh-25lbs

based on the info given you are probably in the 450 lb range, as equipped right now, u might consider 09 bumper mod, you could get rid of your mechanical reverse drive and lose another 22 lbs

He did say he has the diamond lite drive.

bet you that thing is some serious fun!!!! bet your given those turbo boys something to think about with numbers lke 385

If I take the advertised 09CF1000 weight minus the weight losses that I saw on the scale (measured each mod as I did it to compare to advertised) for each mod I'm running a tad under 420. Adding DD lite, lite shaft & lite brake with my new motor this week (Michelle has KILLER deals on bottom ends btw) so I should be below 415 now. Got just a couple more places I can pull weight, might shave some aluminum off the outside of the motor as well, there's a bunch of extra junk on the 1000 cases.

Oh yeah, also getting rid of the valves & adding lightweight wristpins, there's another 4 lbs.

Haven't weighed it for a few years so I can't remember(or try to post) weight of it but...

'06 M7 153 LE
Cutler 1 Liter
Ekholm skid(44lbs)
CE 156x2.5x15
Powder Pros
LW fiberglass hood no headlights
Snopro Mod airbox
Floats up front, Works shocks in the back
CR Tunnel
CR tidbits, steering post, handlebar setup, LW frontend bushings

What's she weigh? I'm thinking 440ish? Or am I out to lunch?
BD driveshaft and brake set-up is sitting in the shop for it, thinking of replacing the gears for BD ones but haven't had one issue in 4 years so far with regular oil changes. Did gear up when the 1 Liter went in.

Dude can u post the breakdown of your 80+lbs weight loss to date? That'd be killer. You either have more done to it that what's posted or I'm rounding the wrong numbers in my head. Thanx in advance. I'm thinking what you've posted to be about 60 actual lbs compared to what is actually advertised....am I wrong?

My 05 M7 is around 455 on three bathroom scales. It has a BRTech lexan hood, BDX intake, New Mountain seat, 09 HCR rails, Floats on the front, one Float in the rear, 09 rear tunnel/bumper, 153 power claw andi lights on the bumper tha shine through the hood.

That's pretty ccurate I'd think, although I knw the bathroom scale thing doesn't usually relay bang on numbers I'd tend to agree with the weight you have posted. Thanx

2009 M1000 162" Sno Pro 465 lbs dry

I weighed this 2009 M1000 162" Sno Pro last season. This is full of fuel and ready to ride. The day it was weighed and the photos were taken it had the stock muffler on it and a small battery on board we don't normally run. So with the other mufflers and nix the battery I would take off another 10-15 lbs depending on the can. So it should put dry weight at about 465. (i am using about 80 lbs for all fluids someone correct me if I am wrong) The pictured weight also includes the stuff you see on the sled ie. tail bag and gas can carrier.

DD 1200 big bore with full single system
oil delete
bdx intake

not to hi-jack post but arctic cat claimed a 22 lb loss between the 08 and 09 m1000

and most of that was the electronic reverse
