How is the snow out of centennial

Try to wait until Jan. Me and a buddy drove from Northern IL , to centenial about 3 years ago right earound this time . We both came back with bent bulheads, I tweaked a tunnel. I am headed out Jan 8-13. Jan usually has a decent base.

Nope wasn't us--he just tweaked it a bit, rode 'er back. There were 8 of us going very slow, had some relatives along who'd never been on a sled. Actually got along better than I thought we would! That was my red Charmac down by the turn around, if you see us around stop and say hey. Dan

dan, is it worth a trip out thurs. or are we better to hold off another week or two?

If you make the trip, let me know. I'm trying to make it up either Thursday or Friday for the first time this year. Sno-tel is looking good. This really reminds me of how last year started.

ocd, i'll let ya know. we are waiting on parts for a couple sleds, hope to have them together wed. night.

Our group rode all day Sunday out there. Spent the majority of the day down in North French Creek area. There was no less than 3 to 4ft of fresh powder everywhere, in some areas, over 5ft. Probably some of the best fresh powder we had ever ridden in. Be careful of the tree stumps, even though there is so much snow down there, you still track down pretty easy.

The trail down to lake marie area was also pretty good, few areas you had to ride in the ditch, then other areas were covered by a few feet of snow.

Riding was awesome for this time of year!!

where from in Illinois, squirrelchaser? - headin out tuesday the 9th to pick up new sleds at maverick. Hope to play around a little for a couple of days

Early riding, bent a-arms

I have tweeked a-arms two years in a row both the week before christmas. One was a stump I bounced into the other was a rock under 2 ft of power while turning out of a climb. Luckily I was able to finish both trips. I would say christmas if your going to drive more than 14 hrs.

Two yrs ago I was in WY for work anyhow and spent a day out of Centenial, last yr was a 3 day trip, we went to Centenial first and drove around to saratoga the second day.
