How is the snow out of centennial

Well we drove up yesterday--you can drive a car clear up to the gate past the turn to Mountain Meadow cabins. There was one trailer, couple of guys out of Colo. Looks pretty slim---you can pick your way to Marie, and poke around. We're going to trailer up tomorrow--try to slip around back and just take it easy. Dan

Yea, but that 2 feet packs down to 4" when you ride over it.
Be VERY careful.
We hit all kinds of stuff. Stumps, rocks etc.
it looks to be snowing pretty good up there now. anyone have a report so far?

Just got back from the Mountain. The statment about driving along way up, is true we drove all the way up to the road that goes to Brooklyn Lake. Parked there and road all the way to Ryan's Park ate lunch and road back. Mostly trail riding but that is the only way to insure that my sled stays intack. Got off the trail a few times, went up the toiletbowl a couple times. I was going to take some pics for you all but forgot the camera. Sorry I am going up tomorrow so I will take some then. At least now I can quit itching from the snowmobile FEVER!!!

heard at the lodge that they got a foot of snow yesterday and about another foot last night and it was still snowing

Woke up to more snow in Laramie. We will see how the top is.
Went up yesterday, from the gate to Marie we had to pick our way along the side of the road. Climbed Marie a couple of times then went around back up towards Quealy, basically stayed on the trail. On the back there's about 12" to 20" base and there was 6" to 8"new after noon. One of the boys tweaked an a-arm and we wore out 2 sets of scratchers. Its snowing pretty good out at the moment and the pass above Laramie is closed. Dan

Rode from saratoga side yesterday. Enough to play a little bit nothing to brag about but good tune up day. Foot plus over night. When we left the place this morning there was a god 12-14 inches still setting on the highway and the snow was coming. Sorry no pics forgot to put the chip in my cam before we went.

albany venture
Just got in from riding above albany, had to park up at rob roy turnoff but went up to french creek, and the snow was awesome. Came back on [w] trail no base but pushing 3-4 foot of new powder and it snowed all day on top. Watch out for fallen trees, good year to carry a good saw.
