I have a wedding that i have to go to in denver easter weekend. I was going to haul the sleds with me to head up to centennial when the wedding was over to ride that week. I have never been there that late in the season, and I don't know what the temperatures and the snow is like??? Can anyone help me out on this? If it is not good in the snowies that time of year where is a good spot to go that late in the season? Just want to get some riding in while i'm already out that way.

Thanks. :confused:

It all depends on their snow fall. Right now it's ok, but normally by now they have alot more snow. I ridden up there on the 15th of June before but probably could have ridden the 4th of July. Just keep an eye on it and ask when it gets closer.

Oh yeah, one other thing. By that time of year all the trail signs are down and no more grooming so either ride with someone who knows the area or bring a GPS.

It's usually pretty good snow at that time of year. We ride well into April and May. You'll have to watch it when it gets really warm, because that's when the snow gets wet and heavy. Don't stop or you'll be stuck! Last April, we rode north of N and found some good snow.

Thanks alot guys! Is there anywhere else you guys like to ride late in the season?

Rabbit Ears is also good for late season riding. Bring the sleds with you. You might time it for a spring dump. Don't miss out.

You may get lucky but most likely will be mash potato snow... BUT, some of my best rides have been sun burnt no jacket sunshine weather. Bring the sleds and make the most of whatever it is.:beer;

Last weekend of april last season.

You will have plenty to ride in the snowies. It may be concrete, mashed potatoes or it could be a spring storm, but there will be enough to ride.
