hey guys, so wondering, on this, WHAT do you all think i should run boost wise, what i have done is, 1.3mm gasket (biggest you can get from ski doo) then aftermarket domes and milled out, i have 96 Thou squish,

the gas here, i can get 94 octane at chevron so i should be good there, im hoping for 8 pounds boost,

but just looking to see what you guys feel, im looking for extra power and run on pump gas, and new to the turbo stuff, so i dont want detonation, obviously,

And does anybody know where i may want to start for clutching on this thing?

any info is muchly appreciated!

Im thinking you should be safe up to 5 pounds at around 3000 feet, Im in the same boat as you as I will be tuning in an RT turbo in a couple weeks, stock engine, biggest base gasket, low comp heads, compression about 115 at 2100 feet. Will be running straight 100 ll. Im hoping to run 7-8 pounds reliably. Also for the short amount of time I was testing mine last spring, At five pounds of boost on the areo 66 I was pulling the same clutching as my 1100 bikeman and twin pipes were.

ah, ok well im riding i think about 4,000 or so, to max of 9,000 or 10,000 or so, i think most my riding any how is really above 5500 feet, lower down is the trail riding, i got 94 octane, so hopefully i can do about 7,

basically i have a high compression dome, but they where milled, now im not sure if my squish was milled only, but i know that the squish was done, and possibly in the dome its self too, i "think" i got about 120 ish psi in compression right now, but its kind of hard to do it out of the chassis because pulling that engine over even with both sparkplugs out and a comp gauge is still very hard
