How have we gone all summer without a "Best Oil" thread?

What's summer on SnoWest without a discussion on what's the best oil? So what is your favorite eyeburning, smelling, color, availablity, and lubricating (like that matters?) oil?

I've always ran Polaris oil in my Polaris sleds, everything from the old blue, gold sythetic, gold plus, etc. It works, it's readily available, it smells like 2 stroke oil, and haven't seen a reason to change.

Extra virgin olive oil. Or non-gmo fair trade organic coconut oil if I'm low on olive oil. Smells like the tropics.

Plus those heavy weight 2 stroke oils just slow down the etec!

+1 on the coconut oil. then I can dream of being on the beach as I climb through the trees





who am I kidding?? I would much rather be shoulders deep in some fresh pow than sweating my a** off on some beach!!! Ha!!

All kidding aside, I only run Amsoil Dominator. Never had a problem, and I always have a few gallons rolling around (see signature )
