How hard is Klim's Yellow Valdez parka to clean?

I am getting a Yellow Klim Valdez parka for christmas and was wondering how hard it is too keep the yellow clean and what should you use to clean it. My old tomahawk parka was way easy to keep clean just because it was black. Any info would be appreciated, thanks

My last shell was mostly yellow (not Klim), and it looked like chit after about 2 months and still looks like chit!
Unless you never touch, repair, maintain, your sleds in the field, it'll be permanently dirty pretty quick.

I've heard a can of Coke will work but never tried it. My yellow bibs are all stained up. I've tried everything but the Coke...

I won't be buying another yellow set.

I have a yellow Valdez one as well, and I throw it in the washing machine and the stains and dirt come out quite easily I find.....

Having said that though, I would not get a Yellow jacket again!

I would think it's going to be tough because simply Murphys law plays into this. You get a light colored jacket and it's bound to attract dirt/grime.

I have the red one and it has a few blemishes in it from grease/oil etc. Nothing bad but it's not nearly as bright as yellow will be.

Good luck with it, just depends how carefull you are while changing a belt or doing anything minor or major in nature. Even loading a trailer could get that dirty.

Last year I bought the Yellow/Black Valdez Parka and put over 600 miles on my sled while wearing it and it still looks great today, and has never been washed. I put the jacket on when I ride and take it off when I get back to the truck. I usually do not load or on load my sleds while wearing it, and I never wear it while working on my sled, but then I ride an 06 Summit X so that is never an issue LOL!!!
