How does the pro 600 compare to M7

Thinking of getting a couple 2012 600 RMK's and wondered how they compare to the old M7's. I rode an M7 for a couple of years and it was a good sled but I have not rode the 600 pro. Will the 600 hang with it in a climb?

Yes, I think the 600 will definitely hang with an m7. That is what I upgraded from too. Handling is better, power is a lot smoother and more consistent. The real difference is how the pro gets up on the snow, it just keeps going and going.

i have rode both of these sleds even owned a few m7 with many mods and the pro 600 will spank the m7 anyday of the week and handle way better,so easy to carve around and the 600 can almost hang with the 800 with a few mods,i swaped from a rmk 600 to a 800 all day and really not a crazy diff between the 2 i had a blast on both.also lined the 600 rmk up with 2 diff f7 on the lake and the 600 crushed everytime just wish someone would race me with there 800 but no one did lol

Wow that good to hear but kinda hard to believe u beat F7's on a lake speed run ! Thats where they shine. How much Hsp does an M7 have ?Mind sharing what the few mods are ? Curious as I have a 13 600 coming .

Keep dreaming no 600 is going to touch a f7 above 50mph. If you want to come to MN I have a f7 here waiting for you to "spank" it along with a couple of 800s that will laugh you out of the state

no one would race an 800 against a 600? am i missing something? are u in bizarro world where cc's work backwards? whats the point of 800's then if 600's are the boss on the hill, trails, lakes and rivers :face-icon-small-ton

I know my 05 started at 140 and it pulled the best at around 155hp while keeping the sled pull and go.

So your M7 is modded (extra 15hp) and you are comparing it to stock 600's? I think you M7 feelings are getting hurt.

Im not comparing it to anything. I personally would like to see a 600 keep up with a well running 700

I no longer have my m7 at 155 the sled was every day reliable I had no bobbles like others and it's cheap. You can pick up a nice m7 for what 2500 dollars put another thousand into it and you will have a strong runner

The 600 pro is a great sled not far behind the 800. With great improvements on new sleds every year some mods can make it up for 1 maybe 2 years but nothing sweeps clean like a new broom. The new 600 pro will crush m7 in stock form new tech vs old tech. I have modded sleds to try and keep up with new stuff not worth the headache. IMO

The M7 weighs 42lbs more, has at most 10hp more and does not have the advanced rear suspension that makes the Pro holeshot and float better. I think it is safe to say the Pro6 will come out ahead.

Lol on the quotes. I agree it isn't worth the PITA IMO either.

:baby::baby: i am deff not dreaming i raced 2 diff f7 both 2 times each and i spanked them both also raced a old mxz 600 if that helps u and yes i spanked it too, like i said before i have compared the 600 to 800 very very close imo and the m7 does not compare as i have owned a few m7 and they were good in there time but do not compare :moony:

Racing... lakes... MOUNTAIN SLEDS?????

Really?

happens every day in the winter all across the northern part of America, and everyday short trackers are handed their *** on a platter served with a nice slice of "LOSER" (in Jeremy Clarksons voice)

Happened EVERY ride we went on in the UP and never did a 121 anything win...

The dude comparing the 600 Pro to the 800 Pro evidently hasn't ridden an 800. I own an 800 Pro and have ridden a 600 Pro, and there is a very large difference in power & torque between the 2. The 600 is a great sled, don't get me wrong, but it's not an 800. I have never thought "gee, I wish my 800 was a 600, because they are just as fast".

No doubt, I am going out on a limb here and saying that the 600 does not have as much power or torque and is not as fast as the 800, and they are not close.
