Pulled my bike out last year 28km from backcountry. With a sled. I always have two 6” long endless slings hanging off my bars ,mainly used for tying down for transport. Tied Rope to sled bumper and choked each small slings to each front lower frame tube. Ran rope between fork tubes to slings and pulled it home. Was able to steer fine. Still had brakes , and no tip overs. Was able to be pulled as fast as they wanted as once we hit trail. Ice near parking lot kinda sucked tho...
