how do you move your long track around in garage??

What are people using other than the dollies to move their long tracks around in the garage...I get ice build up on floor (not always heated - wood stove) so the dollies pop off the skis, etc. and it is a hassle.
Looked at the dolly style mover that goes under footboards with the two larger tires, but dealer said with a 155 track they are a little tough to use....would like something to make it easier for son and I to move units around.....lifting skis on dolly gives me a sore groin too after the season..
Thanks guys!

hey

If it was a arctic cat, you could just move it around by yourself, and use no dollies. :face-icon-small-hap I use ratchet straps that are hung on beams, and move it wherever i need it like that, and pick it off the ground to work on it like that to. I only have a little heater with wood floor.

I like dollies cause all the wheels are crazy, making it real manuverble. Try glueing some rubber on the front dollies so the skiis have something to grip. My dollies have 3" wheels, so they roll over stuff easier than the 2" ones. I also mount a 2x4 on edge on the track dolly and set it between lugs.

I picked up some small furnature dollies at harbor frt. they have 3" rubber caster wheels on them. Works alot better than the sled ski dollies.

i just got some at costco, 30 bucks for the set. they have 4 wheels each, the ski ones are shaped for the carbide and all three have rubber mat glued to them. they even have eyelets for straps and came with straps to strap your skis and track to them.

I have two sets of dollies ....one with bigger wheels, one with smaller, not happy with either...move sled, hit ice that melted and froze again on cement and they pop off....really like the looks of the last video by snowsoul..wonder if that would be tough to build or not???

how about the ez mover

has anyone used the eazymover brand, looks like a good design. just wondering the functioning of them?
