How difficult would it be to adapt a water-to-air intercooler to a BD kit?

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with a PG BD kit .... There's a slim chance I might do it next month, but if not .... I will have the whole summer to ponder....

Anyways, I'd like to do the mini-intercooler kit from BD but it got me thinking .... How difficult would it be to put another, smaller cooler in the tunnel and use an electric pump to circulate coolent through the intercooler?

You'd obviously be limited by how much electrical draw the pump would be allowed with a stock electrical system, and I'm pretty sure I could calculate out an approximation for a charge temp based on heat exchanger geometry and available pump power ....
You'd need another coolent reservior, etc ...

But has anyone tried this before just out of curiosity? How difficult was the fabrication? Did it work?
