try this..tell me what ya get...AMAZING MATH PROBLEM

Here is a math trick so unbelievable that it will stump you. Personally I would like to know who came up with this and why that person is not running the country.

Grab a calculator. (You won't be able to do this one in your Head)

1. Key in the first three digits of your phone number ( NOT the Area code)
2. Multiply by 80
3. Add 1
4. Multiply by 250
5. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again.
7. Subtract 250
8. Divide number by 2

Do you recognize the answer??

Now...
1/3 = .33333333.....
2/3 = .66666666.....
3/3 = .99999999.....?

so .99999999.... = 1.000000?

I think the people that create these things are coders for microprocessors. I am sure if you did this in hex or binary it would look a lot cleaner. Unfortunately I only remember enough to screw with myself.

Duh!!!

Pretty obvious what their getting at!!:D

It's an algebra problem with two variables. X = the first three numbers of your phone number and y = the last 4 numbers.

X x 80+1 x 250 + y + y - 250 / 2 = 0

I just can't remember how you find the value of two different variables within the same problem. Shouldn't have slept through so many math classes in HS I guess.
