-22c here this morning now -18 thats extreme cold for here being right on the ocean.

it was -43 at 7am here. went out and started the truck at 9am and snapped a pic....

One day is 30°f and the next its -25°f. This winter is weird! Usually we can count on January to be -20 to -30 all month.
I guess Al Gore hasn't been to Canada yet to prove Global Warming. If he went up there, all the hot air he blows would warm ya up quick!
I don't know how cold, but I had to hold a match to the light bulb this morning when I turned on the lights.

pretty nice in winnipeg compared to the west right now only -26, -41 with the chill, going down to -51 with the chill tonight, hope the truck starts in the morning
-34 this morning -52 with the wind chill suppose to be -39 tonight.

This morning was -44 when I got off work. Didn't even want to know what it was with the wind.... I'm sure it was around -46C in the middle of the night. I broke a 1 inch diesel hose off trying to fill a herman nelson....
Last night was a right proper rodeo trying to keep stuff running around the plant here... Spent ALL night outside running around trying to keep compressors running with a Baker pump and methanol. FUN
I haven't shut the Cummins down in three days... Woke up to a TRIPICAL -31 at 5 pm tonight. Feels GREAT!

Nice I had 64 at about 6:30 AM got colder throughout the day (55) with the f-in crazy wind. Fires all over the place, Garbage flying down the streets, God I miss MN.

Had to go out on Sunday on a rescue mission. Cabin 40 miles from the pickup had a thermometer that read -37C at 5:30PM. Had to go out another 30 miles and made it back to the cabin by 4:30AM Monday morning and temp was -47C. Started a fire in the stove and stayed 3 hours trying to warm up a bit and when we left one sled refused to start so have to go back when it warms up to get it. Cold ride on the back of the Skandik that 40 miles back to the truck
Get your damn dog inside!!!!!!!! Nothing pisses me off more than somebody abusing a dog. Would you like to be on the porch in this weather????

Most dogs get old really fast if left out in this kind of weather. Insulated dog house, straw bed with a heat lamp. Perhaps this is to comfy cause when I go outside he doesn't even stick his nose out to check sh!t out.
