First of all I know a teacher who went to school with Barack Obama and the President introduced himself as Barry in High School.

I think Barry created a window or a mirror reflected what could be.

YES WE CAN .... was the possibilities reflected by each person's looking into him as the candidate to do it for all of us.

Beyond , race , creed and color , above and beyond the petty politics.


Why I did not buy into the mirror image ???? Why ... I have seen this mirror BEFORE reflecting what could be only to be fogged and shattered.

How ???

Religion soured, the bliss of marriage tainted by reality, the joy of children corrupted by society.

Am I bitter ??? Only by how naive the masses are and wonder what more I could do to help prevent this charade. I not saying not to elect him but at least know what we got ourselves into. I think we created the charade, supported by mass media.

All Barry had to do was sit back and enjoy the ride and get elected. Well , now he is riding a biggest and widest dual turbo nitro methane 300 million cylinder sled thru the knarliest uncharted part of history. How does the machine ride Mr. President?

As I see the Obama mirror getting fogged, and chipped away by reality I wonder when the nation will turn against him AND the majority political party in congress?

I'm not sure about that. He might have gotten a few Clinton voters, if he and she had played it better. And, he did get more conservative / religious voters engaged enough with her, to get them to the voting polls. And, did you notice that McCain was being ignored, until he pulled her in.

He definitely could have done a better job vetting her, and laying the groundwork for her announcement. But, the major problem with Palin, was she was an acceptable target, by the media and entertainment groups. They never felt comfortable making too much fun of McCain, but she was everything they hated. They attacked her like a food stamp.

The republicans put forward a old guy with what was seen as old ideas.
Palin was the only reason McCain got as many votes as he did.
The media HAD to go after her hard. She gave McCain a 15 point jump. They HAD to destroy her. They didn't have a choice if they wanted their man in the white house.
Here comes a guy that can charm the socks off ya. He talks a GREAT game.
He has the media on his side in a major way.
He has HUGE money to attack.
Obama did a fantastic job (with the media's help) of painting McCain as just another 4 years of Bush.
Obama promised everyone everything and made it all seem possible.

I give it a year before the Dems can't blame the Republicans for every thing that is wrong. Reid is already in trouble in his home state of Nevada. His approval ratings are at below 30%. Palosi's approval rating in her home state of California is less than 40%.
The dems are already worried about the next election in 2 years. They will be pushing HARD for everything they can get now. that is why they are breaking all the rules to try and seat Franken. They need all the help they can get. That is why they are pizzed at who is being seated to replace Hilary.

Look at it this way.
Obama spent 650 million dollars.
McCain spent 85 million dollars.

Obama won by 3%. Imagine what could have happened if Obama had followed the election rules.

Ill agree with you about that, seemed for every three stories about obama, you might have heard one about mccain. Once palin came on the scene you wouldnt have even known mccain was running.

How so because he picked a running mate that has more political/govt experience than his opponent? Is it because she is a MILF? Did you know her hubby the "First Dude" won the Iron Dog last year? Maybe that she has and lives by old fashioned values? It did not matter who ran against Barrack, the republicans had no chance. Kinda funny how the real candidates left the race early as they realized what was happening. McCain has ran three times and lost three times, wouldn't have anything to do with that would it?

Funny how he is already starting to waffle and tell us what we already KNEW would happen no matter who was elected. Well Barry has upset the Catholic Church about giving 480 million for abortions to other countries.

Yet the school my children go to are asking for donations to pay for exterminating the head lice on campus. The district is not sending / exterminating the lice saying they see the problem solved if the kids shave their hair and use medicated shampoo.
