The candidates are nothing to brag about but there is a candidate that will be voted because of the color of the skin , BLM has nothing on this culture , even pointing it out in the political field would surely be instant death of a carrier, but for now that's how the puppets are played. One of the candidates dropped out that plays in favor of rank choice. Repeat this and it will keep the existing seat holder seated. Eventually it won't matter down the road those seated will stay seated.
