Thank you everyone who helped support the Sweetwater Snowpokes build the new Blind Bull Warming Hut/Safety Shelter. We are probably a little short on the fund raising still.... They also built a wood shed, finished staining the trim, painted the foundation, reclaimed the area and road, got a new chalk board, installed the donation box (used for maintenance), put in vents and installed a ramp (required), worked on the outhouse.....

Here are the latest pictures. Can't wait to go see it myself.

Would the GPS cords show up on google earth? I have looked up the warming hut on there before but dont' remember...I can't use/download google earth from my computer at work so I couldn't tell you for sure.

yes they do, i think they are at the bottom.

anybody else out there know the location of the hut ???

Just wanted to say thank you for the updated pictures you sent in the mail. You did a great job and we will try to make it to the opening! I hope to send more money soon. How close are you to your goal?

We are closer than ever. Ha! We are waiting for final numbers for things such as reimbursement for fuel for the contractor. I am thinking within a few thousand? We are hoping to have enough for maintenance and to put some signs up in the shelter. Some saftey signs, take out your garbage, etc. We hope to take those up as soon as there is enough snow to get in. Then we will have a dedication perhaps in January. I'll know more at the next meeting in November.
