Hoping to find people to ride with this winter.

I will be in Leavenworth this winter, and I am new to the area. Been looking at the maps, and it looks like there is a bunch of good riding close by.
ABOUT ME: I'm 30, and I have lived in Wisconsin my whole life. I have been sledding all over the west just never in WA. I have a 2006 M7, it rips hard, supper reliable, and has been very well maintained. So you don't have to worry riding with a complete noob on a pile of junk. I take avy danger very seriously, beacon, probe, shovel, and other survival gear, on me at all times in the backcountry. I have a truck so its not like I'm trying to find someone to haul my junk around for me. Just hoping to find some people I can hit up on powder days, or any other day for that matter who want to get after it! Looks like winter is about to get going in the high county, let it snow!

Try and hook up with the Bavarian boondockers club they'll show you the best areas. Thery're out of Leavenworth area. Have a good season!

If that doesn't work you can always post on here where you want to ride for the weekend and find riding partners. In the past I've just showed up at a sno park & asked the next group that pulls in if I could tag along, found some life long riding buddies this way. Most people around here are pretty easy going when it comes down to it unless their headed to a "SECRET SPOT"

I think "Secret Spots" need to be revealed!!!!

...slow comfortable walks on the beach, romantic dinners and enjoy the outdoors.....jk:face-icon-small-ton

Hey Hi Rise, you should definitly hook up with the Bavarian Boondockers. Think the Thursday night sled videos start soon at Uncle Ulies in Leavenworth. Generally the riding gets good after Newyears. Except last year was good early. Lots of good areas to ride and their are no secret spots, just got to follow the tracks. Keep an eye on here there are often people posting places to meet, and you can always ask.

Hey high rise I live in same area n usually start riding mid November pending on snow. Will let u know when we're heading out if u want to hook up. I go every weekend and on the Fridays I have off.

My girl friend is working in Leavenworth for a year. My job allows me to take off in the winter, so I'm going to live with her until I have to go back to work.

Lucky man. Mid week can be amazing here! I'll keep you informed if I can arange some time off. Let me know if you are buddy-less on the weekends to, always looking for riders.

Mid-week riding is the best. There are a ton of slackers like me who take off from work whenever the riding is good so it's not empty snow parks but you deal with way less than half the normal riders than on a weekend. I rarely get up that way but you are welcome in our group if you want to ride Baker, Snoqualmie Pass areas, Salmon La Sac and Rimrock areas.

I also sometimes take weekdays off, just kind of depends on my workload. You're welcome to join us as well. PM me on here anytime :)

Might actually take it out thi year so I wont have to photo shop no more.:face-icon-small-hap
