Home Made Sled deck?

does anybody make home made sled decks?
i'd like to see some pics if anybody has any.

My friends call this the Redneck Sled Deck. Not very fancy but it works great for getting in to the tough spots or hauling one extra sled. With the ramp I can ride right on up no problems.

There is a ugy who loves here and has one he calls "the scud" (scud missle) Loads in the back of a nissan pickup and ends up pointing up at a 45 degree angle over the cab. looks funny

2 sheets of 1 1/8 plywood t & g with a third sheet for a ramp. Sorry no pics, cameras wern't invented yet when I was using it. Worked good though and was cheap.

I have one of those aluminum folding ramps that hooks on the end. That is an 8' bed it's in so I would guess the total length at 10'+ I really like it when I'm going by myself. I have a Charmac enclosed trailer and it's nice to leave it home sometimes.

Yep, seen it and helped him load his sled on it..... scarry!!!!

Started one for a F-150 supercrew. (don't laugh) Using warehouse pallet racking and misc steel for framing material. Frame will be 175#+/-. Will post photos as I complete.

were you looking for a single place or two place? A single place that sits inside the bedsides would be super easy. A two place that sits above the bedsides would be a little more work!

like the first pic showed, it would enable you to use a short ramp and might save a little wear and tear on the floor of your bed.

this guy built one pretty cheap. I would maybe spend a few more dollars and hours to do it but his design basis is pretty good.

What would be the purpose of a single sled in bed sled deck?

Makes for a real easy load & unload and it keeps the carbides off my truck bed. I have a cank handle & bar up front so tie down is easy too. I don't always use it but it sure is nice at times.

Ill snap a pic of my rough and dirty one i whipped up for my truck last winter. 9 foot steel ramp, a free box liner for the ski slides, some lumber, 60 bucks for the steel, and a night of my time. And why? So i have a descent ramp with me all season long (under the riser deck)
