Home from island park pic's and video

Lakeside Lodge, right? I stayed there during the 2003 Snowest party at Jacobs Ranch.

Big Springs? I got the same pic of that miniature cabin. I wonder if it's a pumphouse??

Mesa Falls. Got those beautiful pics too.

Great area, IP.
That lodge was actually at eagle ridge. I cant remember the story behind the little cabin.

New set of drugs and I go back in a week. It wasn't D-Day

Hurts inside like a bastage !!

I'm gunna beat it, I'm gunna beat it, I'm gunna beat it
So mote it be..... hehehehe

By the way, nice teddy bear... you trying to pick up that chick or what ?

----- Gimpster -----
Yes you will. I got my fingers crossed for ya. Na i was just trying to sweet talk her into a turbo :D

Island Park, My favorite place in the world. I love big springs. My favorite place to stay is in the village at IP lodges. I've stayed there twice last winter and once the winter before. Imo there is nothing better then the valleys up in the hills. Kegs is also a awesome spot. I am not going to make it out there this year, but next year for sure. I'm planning on buying a 35 foot enclosed gooseneck so i will be set up...

Thanks for the pictures!

You went all the way to IP to play in the meadows?!?! Where's the mountain pics and video? - Just kidding ya AJ.
IP is a great place for any type of terrain and riding you want, especially if you have the family along. Looks like you had a great trip, wish I was there.
We stayed at IP village last Feb and it sure is fun to wake up, get dressed, put your helmet on and ride right from your front porch. And did I mention the awesome terrain?

The little cabin is actually a generating wheel, up above it and to the left is the Johnny Sack cabin, (Johnny was one of the trappers/mtn. men in the Island Park area.) It is a neat, albeit, short tour in the summer the wheel no longer generates electricity. Big Springs is the beginning of the Henerys Fork of the Snake River and unfortunatly for Samuri, you cannot fish until about 3 miles downstream. For lodging try Island Park Village, Ponds Lodge and Phillips Lodge. Island Park is one of my favorite areas, wish it was about an hour closer.

Thanks for the info. Like to treat the family to a 1 week long first class sled trip every year. Kinda my way of repaying them for some of the chit holes we stay in up here to get to untouched snow. Son has been there but too much Crown leaves him a very unreliable source.
Can you recomend a high star hotel or lodge close to Big Springs.
Closer to the sushi the better.;);)
Thanks everyone, lots of good info

That's what I'm planing on doing next year get an enclosed with a heater and making a couple trips there a month :D

We were there two weeks ago, we stay at IP village, have a condo there.
Did you do the Two Top trail to?

Thanks For the pic's
We planed on going to two tops but didn't get it done by the weekend. most times the trails are pretty ruff by then so we passed this year.

Dude....

We must have been on Big Springs Bridge at damn near the same time as this little guy wouldn't stick around for long. That big fat fish...looks like he NEVER leaves though...must get feed.

Samuri,
Many star might be a stretch, if I was trying to go nice I would go to Phillips, it is about 12 trail miles to Big Springs. You might also ask Island Park Village if they rent out any of the homes on the golf course, which I believe they do. I am at a little of a loss as my family has a cabin in the Macks Inn area so we stay there.
