holz front end on 2005 polaris 975 iq

hey boys - (girls out there if any) i'm looking at a deal on a holz front end kit for my polaris 2005 975 166" anniversary sled.
I ride all mountain riding, mostly climbing and some boondocking, and the only thing i'm unsure of on this kit is its a wider kit then the normal ski stance.
I am wondering what your thoughts are on going with a wider front end stance on a mtn sled. ( will it be worse for the mtns wider or not) can see trail benefits, sidehilling more stabil but also see possibly leaning up a wider ski stance especially on 900 chasis being harder?

thoughts and looking for anyone who's done this mod to chim in as well. especially if mtn rider

you can check out this thread on brands...i started it wondering also...but i got the zbros on my 05 900 and got the holz for the wifes sled, 06 700...both are great, fit great and are much better then stock..

but the zbroz are considerably thicker and more stout..

i have the 40" zbroz on my 900, and got the 41" holz on hers..

you can adjust the holz from a 40" to a 42" with the NEW spindles since they are removable..but not with the older holz spindles

you will get great stability, and great trails with the 40" to 43" but any bigger then that IMO, would not be any fun in the fresh pow..would be too wide to boondock...but mind you i have ZERO expierence with the wider a-arms...widest i have ridden were stock...but if you are stuck on getting HOLZ...i would get the 41"...

i have talked to a few friends that went really wide, they liked it alot for mtn riding, but like sean said any bigger than 43 would probably be overkill. personally i would do 42 or 43

seller says its a 43 or 45" kit not certain and called holz they said only way to know is put it on the sled and see.

Anyone have an big objections to a 43" or 45" kit they can see for mtn riding?

Can get the kit for about half price brand new just won't know if its a 43 or 45 til i put it on, so little uncertain here.

only downfall i see is tight places like trees and leaning up being too wide but not sure that would be an issue either.

Also thinking of doing floats and no sway bar with holz front? any thoughts on floats on this sled without sway bar? no sway already but not certain fox floats will hold up that way?

thanks
