Anyone gonna try the Holz Alpha X rear skid on their Yammi. I've always liked the Holz stuff. I wonder what it would take to get that thing on a Nytro?

Yeah

I've had some Holz stuff, and it works really good, and Mark will usually make sure it works.

I've heard it will handle the turbo's too,,,,, Looks interesting!

I loved all my holz stuff.

I just wished they made it for yammis. They told me Mark doesn't like yammis so he won't build one for them. Good marketing scheme

huh

I didn't know he didn't like them, too bad for him I guess. I'm sure someone could fab up some brackets to fit that baby in there.

I've had his stuff on my previous Yamahas and always had good experiences. I doubt highly that he 'doesn't like yamahas', I would think it's more of a small marketplace compared to the other three manufacturers and that perhaps the sales volume makes it hard to justify R&D for it versus the others.

Those were the exact words I was told when I called and asked if they were gonna make anything for the nytro.

Well Sawyer I don't doubt you were told that, but you've got to read between the lines. I imagine if the owner heard someone from his shop say THAT he'd reprimand that representative pretty quickly.

As a business owner, it makes no sense to alienate any of your potential cross-brand customers. I own sleds from Yamaha, Poo, and Doo. Most customers have owned more than one brand. Why potentially put off a sale based on personal opinion?

It probably went something like this;

"Well everyone... we aren't going to make any more Yamaha skids because they I hate how much work and $ it is to get it dialed in for the amount of volume we sell through of the product' and then the customer service rep said to you on the phone 'Yeah... no... we're not making them. Mark HATES Yamaha'.

Now, getting back to the topic;

Who's got one of these skids running in any sled and can you compare it to your previous skid? Thanks.

I've seen things like that happen far too often.
