Holz A Arms on the Pro, Opinions?

I went with the Zbroz last year on my PRO as I wanted stock width, and factory style sway bar hook ups.....also they were in stock where the holz werent. Holz makes good stuff as well as Zbroz. Im happy with my purchase.

Ive also mounted the Zbroz 40" a-arms this summer, weighted the stock and the zbroz, the zbroz are 2.4lb lighter than stock. Mounts up very nice!

Yeah, I know but if a guy did it, I believe someone offers a shock mod to shorten em up. I think it was Carl's, correct me if I'm wrong. Just trying to think ahead, in case I need to narrow up the new Assault.

We can shorten the assault shocks. Requires a new body and new shaft.

thank you very much ! I take it the easy steer D8 spindels will also go over a OK ?

spindles will swap over also, but you still have to deal with metric vs standard hardware. Not a big deal.

If you're talking about swapping IQ spindles onto a Pro, that would be a step backwards in front end geometry. The "improved" IQ spindles reduced caster trail a little but not as much as Holz spindles or Pro spindles. I believe caster also changed significantly on the Pro spindle vs the IQ, but maybe someone else can chime in on that. Also, the Pro spindles have a longer tie rod doohickus and the steering has been changed to allow way easier effort and retain total steering angle.

umm I was thinki9ng about using my d8 spare holz ezsteer spindles on the pro, gotta give all that a good look

Nice, Info from some guys who have used them on the Pro and from Holz as well. Much appreciated!

A few other questions:

It's 1/2" wider per side over stock correct. My ski spacers are already at their narrowest, just want to confirm it will be 1" wider total from stock?

Are the shock mount locations equivalent to the stock pro shock lengths?

Are the uppers/lowers transferable from left to right? ie could I purchase one extra arm and be able to use it on either side in case of a nasty hit?

/Anyone know/confirm the above/

Just got answers to a couple.

Lowers are side specific,

Shock mount length within .05" of stock

Yes 1/2" wider per side.
Our arms are designed to accept the stock length Pro shock.
Each arm upper and lower is side specific- you cannot mix left w/ right.
