Holy throttle response

I just was in Steamboat and we took a pro out stock then bolted on a Patricks custom carbons clutch cover. You can not imagine the throttle response you get out of those 600 grams or whatever it saves. Snow was pretty hard pack but it was still a great ride. Do any of you guys have 1? I didn't even know they made them. But now I'll be buying 1 unfortunately for my wallet.

I was having a conversation with turbotater and Sunridge Sledhead about these.

With so much less rotating mass, why wouldn't you have to add clutch weight when you put a carbon cover on there?

I see this becoming complicated for clutching. Less weight in the cover will produce different throwout on the ramps (seems delayed on equivalent ramps). This will also change the primary. Sounds cool, but I won't spend $650 to experiment with it.

You need to think about what you wrote. Thats not true at all. The weight of the face of the clutch wont change your clutching. I do think this would be a waste of money, but it looks cool.

Absolutely, cuz looking cool gets ya to the mountain top faster than your buddy. :face-icon-small-win

For $650 you can do more stuff that actually will help the performance of the sled.
