A lot of great history over there, but they need bigger cows...lol.
I was in Beijing and Shanghai last May, did a 17 day tour of China. Boy was I glad to come home and have a good meal
... My stories have even ruined for the wifey..... The other part are the smells.... A freakin sewage treatment plant smells better
Do they have somewhat typical western type food? If not, and I had to be over there, i'm pretty sure i'd either starve, or find and shoot a cow. And if I had to, i'd BBQ it with a BIC lighter......
So, what can a guy eat over there?
You can get western style food, especially at the hotels. The problem is my chinese colleagues want to treat me to authentic chinese cuisine. You don't want to be rude, so you bite your tongue and go with the flow.... Ususally after a week or so, I pull the, I'm tired card and go back to the hotel to have a steak and potato meal
Here are a couple of pics to give ya some ideas.... Whole fish with everything included, duck toungs, shrimp that is still whole (even the fuggin eyes are still on it), chicken feet, whole chickens with everything there except feathers, ect.... I spared taking pics of most, but these give ya some ideas....
You would think i would drop 50 lbs in 2 weeks with this being the ship I get.... Atleast the hotel has some decent food
