excellent pow day...probably 2ft lite and fluffy. got tons thicker by leaving time at 1pm, but new snow looked like it was coming in. sun in and out. watch for the holes in flat light....blown in spots were way deep...soggy wet slush below, must have dumped big rain before the snow...lots of untouched. We went in gold creek and parked at the normal place, I'd go up the road until it starts to climb and park somewhere around there. Going in had snow, but coming out had slush with tire tracks bare...

Friday...Breezy in the passes...very windy higher terrain. Rain or snow in the morning...then showers in the afternoon. Snow level 2000 to 3000 feet. Snow accumulation of 4 to 12 inches. Afternoon pass temperatures in the lower 30s. East wind in the passes near 15 mph.
