Holy cow is it snowing

30" so far at my house (south of Telluride 10 miles) in the last 24 hours, and it's just puking. Avalanche danger is off the charts. Once this settles, it is going to be all time, and the forecast is for possibly 3 more feet by Christmas. What's crazy is we had 17" at 7 am and the ski area, which is maybe 5 miles away as the crow flies, had 3".

GJ radar has a pretty big blob from Tride to about Meeker, if it moves slow it should cover some area.

35" is the measured total for 36 hours. There's tons of riding south of Lizard Head pass. SNOTEL station on the pass is reading 58 inches right now, which is pretty phenomenal for christmas.

Good morning grasshopper! I hope you have a snorkel system for your bike. Can't wait to ride there this year. Keep me posted when it sets up and I'm there. What is the snow type wet or dry?
