Holtzman tempaflow...do i need to run a airbox with it??

I want to run a holtzman tempaflow on my sled and i have k&n air filters on it. I seen on the tempaflow we have to install stuff inside the airbox is there a way to run it with my k&n's and how we would do it? Or do i have to buy a airbox?

my guess is, you could get away without the airbox, but would have to fab up a box under the hood to vent everything to

you only use the air boxes if you have one other wise mount it in a safe spot hock the vent lines up and hock up the vac line set the carbs i have it like these on my assault and i have one in the air box on my ultra with 680 triple both work good

An airbox allows you to use outside air which is cooler than underhood air, why would you not run an airbox in first place?
