hole in base

Just wondering if it would hurt welding a hole up in a base of a 900

I don't know either...it probably depends on where and how bad. Having said that I have seen them repaired with JB weld (believe it or not) and normal weld and no obvious issues.

In the case of the JB weld it was more like a crack (but you could see through it) vice a hole.
