ha ha!! good question. I suppose it depends on exactly what the sled is and then relative to me only, how great the deal is, would also be relative to just how far I have to travel to get it (I'm in Utah.)
So let's just look at a baseline for reference. The folks up in Rexburg are offering a brand new 2016 Axys Pro for 10,600. I would buy the extra warranty for $600 and then pay sales tax and be out the door.
So my perfect dream miracle might look something like this: Let's say I can find a 2015 somewhere and that 2015 is miraculously not a pro, but just a standard RMK. The RMK is about a grand less MSRP than a pro and let's say a 2015 should be about a grand less than a 2016. So there's a 2015 standard RMK sitting on the floor and the guy will sell it to me for 8,600, tack on 600 for extra warranty, and then sales tax and I'm out.
There's the dream in my mind. Seems like a one in a million shot. Then again, if the guy has the sled in his showroom, it also seems like a one in a million shot that he's going to sell it for 9500 when anybody could go up to Rexburg and get a year newer sled, with the new chassis, and it's a pro, for just a grand more. So if a guy had one of these around, I feel like the price I'm mentioning would be pretty reasonable from a market perspective, but I also have to imagine that he would be taking a bath to sell it for 8600.
