Packed Junior off to Hockey School this week. It's scorching hot here this week and it's pretty nice sitting in a cool arena watching your boy play.

If I had kids I probably would. I spent some time at Lake Superioir State in The U.P. of Michigan durring a couple summers.

My boy and girl do the Rocky Moutain Summer Hockey School (RMHS) that travels around and comes to Missoula for 1 week each summer. I agree, the cool rink is real nice when its 95 outside.

This summer the daughter has 3 friends coming from out of town to stay with us for the week so basically this week I'm a gofer, chef and a bus driver.

Hockey camp is a ton of fun for the kids. Havent done the over night/out of town thing yet though. May try Banf one summer??

A guy shows up last year from NY City who would drop his kid off in the mornng and go hike, bkie and fish all day long and pick the kid up at night...smart dude.

My son was at an Elite Camp in Penticton, BC last year and there was a bunch of kids from Europe with parents in tow. Talk about an expensive hockey school.
