hmk boots

I have a pair (of the focus) and I love them. However, these are not a waterproof boot and since I ride a REV I had the wet left boot. Last season I put 3 coats of waterproof spray on them and never had another problem.

Love my Pro Boa's. I've had mine for 3 seasons and now and they feel better with age. I tore the bottom tread up scraping snow of my boards the first season, no problems since installing Better Boards.

I just put a season on mine and they did get better with age. My feet also got wet but that was due to my feet sweating because they were so warm. Much better then the HMK Cruisers.

I love hmk boots. I am on my second pair. My last pair lasted 3 years. I now have the pro boa (focus) and absolutely love the boa system.

They are ablolutly great boots and have been using them for years.

A insider told me about some new boots from HMK that will be available this fall, I hear they are 100% water proof and much more user friendly! Can't wait to get my hands on them!

I have a pair of the Pro Boa Focus LE.. Having no laces is nice when it comes to putting them on and taking them off.. much easier and faster.. as far as being waterproof maybe I got lucky, but I was in standing water well over the toe of the boot (maybe 6 inches?) for a good 30-45 minutes and my feet never got wet.. rode in them all season and never got wet.. only time they were ever wet inside was from sweat.. They do get warm.. my only complaints are they do run very small and the bottoms are kinda soft.. I wear a size 9 shoe, bought a 10 boot and they are a bit tight.. The bottoms are a little tore up from the boards this last season.. Overall, worth every penney and would buy another pair.. If I needed to.. I am sure these will last a few more seasons:D

Ive put a full season on my focus' and love them. My feet were wet at the end of the day but only because of them sweating. Also I love the lacing system, very esay to tighten during a ride if needed. And like others have said they do need some break in time. Overall I would recomend them to anyone.

Same report here.....

Now over 135 full western US mtn riding days wearing HMK PRO BOA FOCUS II for testing. (what is that about 6 seasons worth for the average recreational sledder?) Very happy and very satisfied with the boots.

Thin performance socks and making certain that you had a snow gaitor over the tops of your boots if stomping around in deep snow seemed to be the secret to keeping dry feet. (also making certain that your inner liner and the boot shell are dry before you start out each day...for guys that ride everyday that is very important)

The adjustable fit and support settings that you can get from the dual BOA system is really what makes these boots better then any other option.

Great high performance riding boot!

I found that even on those rare occassions when I had to put my boot on the next morning wet (yuck!) my feet NEVER GOT COLD!

I had the misfortune of having to replace my boots mid-season this year (yes, shoulda got them at the snow show) and my local dealer didn't have the HMKs in my size.... rather that wait and order them, I bought the Klim Adrenaline.... I hate them - several eyelets busted out, I can't get them laced tightly, they are not nearly as rigid (I'm pretty sure my HMKs have saved a broken or severely injured ankle on two separate occassions...) I can't wait for the snow show to get NEW HMKs!!

Loved the boots thought the wore out extremely quick. I ride agressive but i have two or three holes through the leather on the boot. I rode three years on my last pair of Klims and outgrew them so had to change. I do like the boot and am contemplating buying a new pair next season to see if the durability is any better. Thats saying something about how much I did like the feel of them and riding with them that I am willing to foot the bill for a new pair just to see if they last any better

I got a pair and I love not having to tie any thing but my snow pants have a sealer or somthing to keep the snow and I put it under the side clicker and both boots are missing the side clicker. but other then that there the best boots I have had.:beer;:beer;:beer;:D

I have pair of HMK Pro Boa's and love them. I must be doing somthing wrong though because my feet get cold. Maybe I'm getting the laces too tight and cutting off circulation?

Any suggestions? I really love the boots, just want my feet to stay warmer.

make sure boot is dry inside. use a good sock ,i have the skidoo sock which is like the klim sock, also if the boots are not just a little oversized theres no room for your foot to get warm air built up in... so u want them to be a little big...

Thanks, I'll try that. Now I just have to wait.
