HM Turbos - Videos from Cooke City

We had a great time in Cooke City and got to ride everything from my stocker, to piped, ported and piped, and turbo charged sleds. Friday was an incredible day with tons of new snow and blue skies. Here are some videos of the different sleds and how they performed against each other. The video was shot with a Samsung cell phone so some of the zooming wasn't too steady.

HM Turbos' shop sled 8 psi on pump gas w/ turbo pipe on Crown Butte near Daisy Pass at Cooke City. This is 10,000 feet at 20ºf. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4v_jCIe8Ug&list=UU7W_ejhKGkIgyI4kWjqKX2g&index=8

The first sled coming up (on the right) is a stocker. The second sled is HM Turbos' shop sled climbing the front side of Crown Butte near Daisy Pass in Cooke City (about a 45 degree angle). He is running 8 psi on pump gas with a turbo pipe and HM's clutching. The third sled (retro) is Andy from Canada. He is also riding HM's kit at 7 psi on pump gas. The elevation is 10,000 feet at about 20(f) degrees. It is hard to see but the damn sled almost came over backwards. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQFdn9UpIDc&list=UU7W_ejhKGkIgyI4kWjqKX2g&index=7

This was this past weekend on Crown Butte near Daisy Pass at Cooke City. The elevation is 10,000 feet at about 20º f. The sled has HM's kit with a turbo pipe.

This is HM's shop sled on Crown Butte near Cooke City. It is 8 psi on pump gas with a turbo pipe. The elevation is 10,000 feet @ about 20ºf. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJcMP6Kv-tk&list=UU7W_ejhKGkIgyI4kWjqKX2g&index=5

This sled belongs to Andy Vanderburg from Alberta. He is running HM's kit @ 7 psi on pump gas with his stock pipe. This video was taken on Crown Butte near Daisy Pass just above Cooke City. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blEZa9Uxc40&list=UU7W_ejhKGkIgyI4kWjqKX2g&index=5

Both sled are 2013 Polaris Pros with HM pump gas kits. The black sled is 8 psi w/ a turbo pipe while the Retro is 7 psi w/ a stock pipe. This run was at 10,000 feet at about 20º f in fresh snow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfniSVR9mN0&list=UU7W_ejhKGkIgyI4kWjqKX2g&index=4

The first sled to go by is an HM Pump Gas @ 7 psi with the stock pipe. Second is a piped and ported HM set up with a Vipec. Third is HM's piped set up. The fourth sled is bone stock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tr8CiOQP_jo&list=UU7W_ejhKGkIgyI4kWjqKX2g&index=3

This demonstrates the difference between HM's Pump Gas @ 7 psi, a piped & ported sled, a piped sled, and one that is just completely stock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9TAgNQfWiA&list=UU7W_ejhKGkIgyI4kWjqKX2g&index=2

HM Turbos Pump Gas @ 7 psi vs piped & ported vs piped vs bone stock. The first three sled are built and clutched by HM. This run took place just outside of Cooke City at 10,000 feet @ about 20ºf. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFMgAqKDqT4&list=UU7W_ejhKGkIgyI4kWjqKX2g&index=1

And finally, Shane and Levi sharing a desert. TOO DAMN FUNNY!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm4zBJZUgdc&list=UU7W_ejhKGkIgyI4kWjqKX2g&index=10

I know he has a 600 with the smaller turbo on it. I got to ride it quite a bit last year at Lolo Turbo Days. I think it was just about the funnest sled there. Unfortunately Shane's trailer will only haul 4 sleds so he couldn't bring it.

The 600 turbo couldn't make it to Cooke:face-icon-small-fro. Unfortunately it gave up its fuel pump to get a customers sled going so he could ride for the weekend but, it will be making horse pressure again by Lolo turbo days and will be looking for test pilots. Also, thanks to MCSD409 and Sledstew for posting all the great videos of HM's product and all their help at the Cooke City HM Turbo Days.

I will be in darby mt on march 3 for two weeks. With my sled I will have to stop by the shop hopefully I could get to test drive one before I head back to Alaska.
