I think that I'll tell him to leave earlier than 6am or he'll get stuck in traffic! Right?

Yup, he'll need to be at I-70 and the Morrison exit at 6:00 or he'll get stuck in the traffic. We usually get to the ears around 8:30 if we miss the traffic.
