Out with buddy today and he hit a tree and dented tunnel right at RH Suspension Bracket. Pushed in so far that it was wearing the track pretty bad, was still rideable just sounded like he had a card in his spokes. So the tunnel is dented and the drop down bracket is bent and has hairline cracks in it. So the plan is to get new bracket and bang out dent, Think its dooable?

You might want to try putting a jack inside the tunnel to spread it. Put a wooden plank 3 or 4 ft. long on the good side as to not stretch it out. Once you have pressure in the tunnel, tap the kink on the top of the tunnel while increasing the jack pressure a bit at a time. should bend out like butter. That's probably what I would do.

Thanks that's a great idea.

Maybe add a little heat to the kinked side too? Hard to say if it will generate a weak spot and bend again. Sucks it has to be right on the bracket. There is a decent amount of force through that area.

bent on the corner like it is you could press or pound it out but it probably wont be back in the same shape or strenth. I would cut out the dent and break two pieces at a sheet metal shop. one to fill the cut out and the other over sized to put on the outside and rivet it together nice and tight. ive seen it done like that on airplanes

I'd try what Articdoo suggested first. If it works, then great. If not then you can start hackin away at it with the plasma and resort to plan b with the plate and rivets.

This was my sled guy's thanks for all the tips glad this site was here it was a huge help. I'll see how the sled goes from here. All the measurements are good just hope it will have the strength still. I'll post the outcome after a couple hard rides. Thanks
