I have been going to McCall for at least one snowmobile trip a year for the last six years. It is common that when we hit town to stop by the local sled shop to nose around etc.
This time our first day out ended in big problems. Me sled broke down in the middle of nowhere and a long ways from any trails. Four and a half hours later we were at the trailer and heading back to the room for the night.
The next morning we showed up at Hinson's. Not only did they agree to work on the sled, the IMMEDIATELY pulled it into their shop and went to work on it. They not only fixed the broken parts under warranty, they also did the new piston and head update and new flash under warranty while it was there.
They bent over backwards finding parts and getting my sled put back together in time so I could bring it back home with me.
Another sled in our group also ended up having problems this same week and they again immediately pulled it into their shop and had it fixed for us the next morning. Again they were able to cover most of the cost under warranty.
Now it is important to realize that we live almost 9 hours away from McCall and have never bought a sled from Hinson's in the past, yet they treated us better than any place I have ever been. In fact, they treated us so well that a member of our group bought a sled from them and I will be buying my next new sled from them as well.
The sledding industry needs more dealerships like Hinson's as they absolutely bend over backwards to help customers out.
