Hijacker 2.0 + Pump gas + 6000-8000' = #lbs boost?

I know the box has just arrived to most, how many pounds boost are you running on your M1100t on pump gas before the knock sensor goes off? We have all heard that 220hp on pump should be achievable but is it?
I dont care what has been claimed as we have been reading about it for close to a year.

Thanks,

Piker

I am pretty sure that glenn hall said they could not get the 1100t to knock at elevation with the hijacker. Something to do with the turbo not capable of giving it enough air flow(boost) to knock.

Other than that I do not see why 220 on pump with a aftermarket muff should not be achieveable. The muff is suppose to give 10-15 hp itself. Then your only talking about 25 hp from the hjacker.

So far all of the sleds in our area riding from 3000-7000ft. can only run 220 with a open exhaust if they are running 94oct fuel . and only 200 on 91. that is the setting on the HI-Jacker 2.0 so add 10 hp to all numbers. With race fuel the box can be turned up to 280 with no octane light.

280 on what race fuel?? 105,110,112 or 114? Is this with head studs and waist gate upgrade?

Count your self lucky if you have your stuff. I'm still waiting, finely have snow and no mod parts. Guess I should have ordered in Sept. Would like more input from others. This keyboard stuff has been quite entertaining this year.:face-icon-small-sho

My buddy and I just ran 15 pounds of boost all week with no problems, not to sure where that puts the horsepower,

well stock we were seeing upto 20lbs of boost.once u go over 18 it comes alive. this is all on 91.

What? 20 psi stock? Impossible I ran my sled stock in Revy for an entire day with the Boondocker 2.0 and 86.5 g Dalton weights ( not by choice due to a melted boost reference line) but i saw 9.6 psi for an average with 12.2 spikes here and there on my control box.

These are my observations from riding one today with HJ 2.0 and straight pipe.

Set the boost at 12,13,14, and 15. For some reason the set boost pressure would change. For example, I would set it at 13 and go ride and then look at the display and it would show 12.8. Regardless of the settings we used today the stats screen would show an average of around 14.5 psi and peak of 17 ish.

Sled was pulling extremely hard and rpms of 8000-8100 so we need more weight and tells me it is making more power than stock. Stock shift speed should be 7600-7800.

All displays and buttons seem to work correctly on the box so don't know about the changing psi setting or the basically similar stats regardless of boost setting.

This is at 3-6K elevation and a 50 mile ride in OK snow. No det codes period. My arms are tired from the beast trying to rip them from their sockets all day.

Any input appreciated and will be talking to BD or Glenn to learn more this week.

Thanks,
Woody

The reason the numbers change on boost is because it compensates for barrometric pressure ie altitude change so if going up in elevation it goes up going down it goes down the number you enter is baseline the stock ecu does exactly the same thing you just can't see it also rode all day today at 8000 to 9000 ft and ran 19 lbs boost with small turbo and straight pipe and 3 galls of 114 fuel mixed with prem and had no octane light rode yesterday with no race fuel at 17 lbs same elevation had octane light come on a couple times on long pulls stock clutching

That's exactly what my buddy and I ran in Revy this last week. Snow was deeep and pretty much botomless where we were riding mostly. My Hcr was revving to 8050 all day with 86.5g Dalton weights, my buddy was revving less than me by a couple hundred rpm but not all that much difference, either way they were both on pump premium gas and the sleds were pulling very hard compared to the other two stockers we have in our group, we are also all straight piped but only two of us were clutched and tuned.

I have the 2.0, straight pipe, what adjustable weights should I order? Planning on changing the intake and going to try and get as much out of the stock setup as possible.

Thanks,
Piker

i'll be putting a boost gauge on as soon as the 1.9 show up.super deep today and it killed it all day.

make sure you put that heat wrap around the line mine just melted off... having one sent down from whitehorse...

Dalton adjustable weights.

I thought 12 was stock at sea level? If you were showing 9.6 to 12 at altitiude you were way underboosted. Stock at 6000 ft would be putting out 15 psi if you wanted to target 15 sea level you'd need to set 18 at 6000 ft.
