I bought an 08 XP about 2 months ago, and no matter what type of snow I was climbing or riding on I couldn't get the RPM's over 7900, usually not even that high. I weigh 280 and the previous owner is quite a bit lighter. He offered to take some weight out of the clutch. Today when I rode after some weight was removed I could easily hit 8400 RPM's, 8440 was the highest. That was on really set up snow and the clutch on clicker 6. Should I just click down to 4 or 5 or should I add a little weight? This is all on a JD clutch. I know very little about clutching. Thanks
