Thanks for taking the time to check us out!

So........What sleds will you be offering?

High Uinta Ventures is able to offer you rates that are affordable because we own all of our equipment, no middle men. Our belief is 'why rent the biggest and baddest when something taken care of will serve the same purpose'. We may not have the newest equipment on the market but its affordable for you. On that note, our rates are as follows:

2000 RMK 550 Trail F/C: $65 per day PLUS gas

1999 SKS 500 Indy L/C: $80 per day PLUS gas

1999 Indy 2-up 550 F/C: $70 per day PLUS gas

From there website:face-icon-small-win The "Legacy trail ride package."

*Fuel charge of $4.00 per gallon will be charged upon return of rental equipment.

Wow, so not only do you get to rent a top of the line 1999 SKS 500 Indy L/C for $80/day and go out perform those newer sleds that aren't well kept, you get to pay them $30 at the end of the day for gas. I think I'm going to go and sell the M8 and just rent from these guys this year!

No need Chad,
I have a slightly modded XLT I'll let you ride for free all season. Just fix everything you break and return it Like New when your done. I'll be a winner in the end.:face-icon-small-ton

You can have the M8 for the winter. Is the XLT just a 136" track? That would be awesome. I bet I can really increase my riding areas and go above and beyond where my M8 could take me.

Look Trevor, a lot of guys are razzing you a bit here, but take it for what it is. In other words there is a lot you can learn by this.

If you are going to start a business you first need to make some assessments. My first would be do you have a product that people want? If you don't then business is gonna be really, really slow. Second you need to be able to make a considerable investment both in time and money. If you aren't able to do both of these then business is gonna be really, really slow. There are three things you need to really invest in. 1. Equipment (Substantial investment) 2. Advertising 3. Insurance

On the equipment you need to buy NEW machines. Nobody wants to pay good money for a beater. Not to mention nobody will be willing to fork out any substantial money to fix a sled that is only worth maybe a grand.

On the advertising you need to spend some money to get your name out there. A free website does not cut it. It looks cheap and unprofessional and that is how people will view you and your business. However, if you do not invest in new equipment it would be unwise to spend much money on advertising.

Lastly you need liability insurance to protect you and your family. When somebody dies on your equipment or gets very badly hurt they are going to come after you and your family (they will sue you) and probably take that nice 30 acre piece of property you guys are running your business on. Liability insurance is very expensive and unless you have new equipment and spend money on advertising you will not make enough money to pay just for your insurance expense.

The one plus you have really going for you is location and the fact you have no LEASE payment. So if you can put the rest together you have a chance to make it.

Good luck.:thumb:

Thats tempting Scotty, but that sks500 sounds sweet......... Well talk tonight. May be a good sled for my daughter... :face-icon-small-coo

I'll sell you an 03 Mtn Cat 570 for a good price

Why sell when you can rent? Lets say you only rent it 1 day a week for the 16 weeks of good riding. At $80 a day that's $1360.
Might lose everything you worked so hard to obtain in life but hey, life's a gamble, shoot for the moon.:face-icon-small-ton

This is what SnoWest is for right?

Look guys i can see alot of criticizm goes on around here, always has. But before you cut down the tree make sure its no inhabited first. Snowmobile rentals are just a small venture were experimenting with to see what kind of revenue can be generated in an area with a population of less than 50. I don't live in a big city, i can't stand them to be honest. So me and my family do alot of different things, sled rentals are just table scraps for the business plan, something we figured to give a shot this year.

Adam i sincerely appreciate your input bud, and yeah the website looks lame as all hell, but i was looking for a quick outlet while i design the one im paying for. As you know our business hasn't been established very long. By this time next year i may be able to afford to take out a mass lease on 50 or so sleds but to be honest i don't want to.. Were no out to get rich overnight.
We just want to be able to pay the bills every month so we aren't forced into selling the 30 acres. But thanks anyways Adam i've always appreciated your input.

Things take time to develop guys (except criticizm of course) and im hoping by this time a year or two from now we'll have the revenue for nicer and newer equipment. But for now, this is it. Thanks everyone for your 'kind' gestures and tips.

No one can change the outcome of your life but you. Kudos to you for having the balls to try, most don't have the nuts to even give it a shot!
