High Time is still here.......

high time

I thought I'd be moving on, but now I'm not so sure. I ordered a new Pro-climb 1,100 Turbo, but I still have the 1000 King. That King has been the one to take me more places than I've ever been before and I've had it for the longest time. It still can get me anywhere.
So as the time ticks away and I didn't save the bucks for the new sled like I thought I would, I have to look at the King and wonder, Do I need a new sled?
And even if I do get the Pro, will I miss the insane throttle responce of the King? Ya can't get that with a fourstroke or an 800.

Anyways I'm still here and a fan of the King.

Owen, you need to keep your eye on the prize. Keep moving towards the light.(4 stroke turbo). Actually the dang turbo sleds need to just get here so we don't have to think about them anymore.

It's high time you're back on here! I know what you mean about the King. I picked up a M8 last spring and although it probably handles better than the king, it does not have the same punch when you hit the throttle. I missed the skis in the air and pure power feel of the king.

Its all in the clutching, you can make the m's rip, and the pro-c has a better start with clutching.

Pretty sure Amber Holt is going with the m1100t after riding a tm1000 she says the m11t has the low end power more like her TM1000.

You still need to come over here and show me what that thing has.

Skis in the air just means the suspension sucks.

Hightime - good to still have you around! While I'm very intrigued about the idea of a 1100T, I'm hanging on to the modded King for one more year to get a chance to try both the 800 & 1100T to make my decision from there. I am sure the 1100T will be an amazing, overpowering machine but I'm still hanging with all of the other newer machines out there so why make the change until I need to...?

I'm going to share something with you guys that I've kept pretty quiet about for many years. My son is a lead engineer for Cat and is reposnible for the fourstroke turbo. He is now the group leader for the fourstroke division. So I should go fourstroke.

I would still like to ride the Red Lodge area. I'm sure you have your spots. There's nothing like riding with the locals. I've had a lot of fun arround Boseman with them locals and down in IP, and Pinedale too. And I can't forget Revy. I love Revy, but my friends are to busy being film stars.

It sounds like we might go to Tog. I havn't spent any time there yet. We'll see I'm told it's good.

Ok high time don't go all soft on me about your King Cat! Don't you remember what the stock 2010 M800 did to your King Cat at Island lake? I do! You were shocked. Not to mention when we ran the M1100T against the M800 how it pretty much destroyed it. Yes it was hard to believe by the seat of the pants evaluation, but seeing was believing. MOVE ON high time its time. :frusty:
