Has anyone hit the rev limiter and if so what rpm are you hitting it at? My new pro out of the box stock everything running on the non-ethanol plug with 91 was only pulling 8050 at 4-6k feet on groomed trails. My buddy with a twin to mine was pulling 8250. It did this until about 80 miles and 5-6 hrs on the tach. Out of nowhere, mid-afternoon it was like someone flipped a switch, it will now easily pull 8450 like that but still have not hit rev limiter. I am wondering if I'm knocking on the door or if something's wrong cause I'm not hitting it? I've heard that around 4-6 hrs the sled will "break-in" and the computer will let the the engine go all out, any truth to this or anyone else experience the same??

If you have 10-62 weights I would change them to 10-64 and see if your rpm drops to 8200. I ride the 4000- 8000 and think I can pull a little more weight also.

My weights are 63 grams stock. they say 62 on them but all are dead on at 63 grams with a highly accurate scale, I put in 68 gram MDS Clutching weights, we'll see what happens now??? Test ride tomorrow
