High rpm engagement on p85 clutch

I just picked up my new matryx khaos 850. Changed clutch weights to go out west and when I started it and made sure everything is good, the primary will not engage until a pretty high rpm. I’m sure I just did something wrong but curious if anyone can help

You've probably got some damage to the bushing in the clutch cover when reassembling it

What do you consider high rpm? above 4000? What weights did you put in?

Check your belt deflection and the belt to sheath clearance.
