High Flow Y-Pipe

Are any of you running a Bigger y-pipe on your 800's? I am finding my EGT's are getting hot on long pulls. I was thinking that if I increased the size of my y-pipe I would allow some of the gasses to get away from my engine. Am I on the right track or am I out to lunch on this? 2013 Proclimb boondocker turbo.

I have always run a better flowing y-pipe with my turbos, only makes sense as you are trying to flow a lot more air with a turbo than without.
