HID's in your sled?

Has anyone installed HID lights(in the stock light housing) on a nytro or apex?
Can it be done?

I put them in my 11 XP which had very little room. I figure if there is a will there is a way!

If I remember right the nytro uses a H3 light which is pretty standard, you should be able to find a kit for a car that would work for around $75 on eBay. The only issue would be finding somewhere to put the ballist. Also I'd get 6000k it's the whitest and brightest HID you can get. 8000k is good too just a little more blue.

Id go to ddmtuning.com and order them, just make sure you get the hi/lo and in whatever style bulb you need. You'll pay something like $80.

I installed the Yamaha set in my 2011 nytro rtx. work great very bright. I love them, I rode my uncles sled which has the stock headlights could barely tell that the stock headlights were on. here is a pic of them on in the garage next to my sisters phazer which has stock headlights
