or hi mountain, whatever their called?
drove 750 miles this weekend to assemble a motor i have back here to ride with some friends in the flat lands. picked up the base gasket i ordered in billings, backtracked 2 hours back to mn. finished all my porting and surface prepping. set the gasket on and @#$&$^*!!! totally for a 600.
clearly reminded them on the phone it was an 800 twice, its like they did it just to spite me
guarantee i will never buy a single thing from there ever ever ever again

you may want to edit the title. Highmark Recreation is in Boise and they have treated me like gold. No point in dragging thier name through the mud if you were dealing with someone in Billings.

a quick google search reveals that it is Hi Mountain that seems to have done you wrong. Please change the name of the title as a lot of people just read the title and you are blasting an innocent dealer who provides great service. HiMark is a totally different company than Hi Mountain.

Justin and Reggie have helped me a lot with my turbo 600. They are good guys and don't deserve this thread.

If you were done that wrong, wouldn't you at least get their name right?

:confused:

There is also a "himark" on here....not to be confused with the name in your bashing thread. Suggest you get the name straight.

nobody

nobodys on this fourm to read it anyway, just had to vent to sombody
got it back togather anyway by driving an extra 2.5 hours to sauk center to get the right gasket. so i got to ride around the yard anyway.
the title of threads cant be changed anyway, only the message. sorry but its just how i feel about those people.

Actually, they can be (by a mod)... I took the liberty of correcting the title for you.:beer;

Your frustration about this experience is very understandable... I would be upset as he!! too:face-icon-small-fro

I understand your frustration but driving for 2 hours I just might have double checked it before I ever left the dealer. Thats just me I guess.

I've had similiar results w/ them--cost me two weeks of great snow. Had some friends pick up rollers and they were wrong, parts person didn't know the difference between primary and secondary clutches. Then when I informed them of their mistake, they did not get the correct parts ordered for another week, apparantly only one person there knows how to order from Skidoo. To top it off, they would only give store credit for their mistake.

Yeah, I left 2 sleds for work last year and took them forever to do a half-a**ed job of it.
You should've just taken a right a few miles down the interstate and stopped off in Sheridan or Gillette.
