Why not get together and put out a best of vid......

Say mid season....

Best of the Best 2007

10 Min of each movie and us guys are sure to scarf that one up.... NO FLUFF just the best 10 minutes you got all year and it creates another revenue stream for you.

Put the ego's aside and join hands.

Luck of the draw for who gets to put theirs in what order.

Editing would be a piece of cake for you.

Split the cost to produce and split the sales...

Lets just say they did that. Do you think the people that are buyin 4, 5, or 6 videos a year would buy just one??? Then you would have the best of all vids in one movie and may not need every vid?

I would say there is a few I would buy every year. Most I would eliminate and buy just that best of vid.

kinda defeats the purpose.. IMO.. when you go riding do you just do the cool stuff.. do you magically apear with your sled and pull a moster shoot....What is the best of best.. some of us only like chutes or powder or jumps..

I'm not trying to flame this thread.. but I personally like to see a little bit of everything in the vid's I watch.. everthing from the drive there, riding, nightlife, more riding, some wrecks.. The whole experience is where its at in my book.. but hey what do i know



Edit:... One cool thing would be to have a couple min overview of each production on one thread and have a little voting going on.. and i'm sure a little trash talking.. ... all in good thread reading

So, I like the idea, let me throw this out. How about do it and put the money to SAWS, of course after cost for the production costs. I don't know a lot about the film business except it's a heck of a lot of work with little return, except the thrill they get every time out.

Just a thought, I know it would be work for many people, of which I wouldn't be one, but it would be for a good cause and I'm sure it would probably be the best selling sled vidieo of all time.

The best of vid would just be like the highlights... I would still buy the ones I do and also the best.... meaning I like as snow knight all the in depth stuff but at the same time.... ADRENALINE packed stuff from all my favorites... not enough of any to satisfy but can throw it on to show a newbie or brother in law....

I understand what your saying, and I think in some respects its a good idea. Looking from the shoes of a vid person though, I think there is gonna some people that say screw it and just buy the best of deal....

Now if the money went to charity like someone suggested, I think everyone would be all over that....

only videos i make are in the bedroom, my problem is i cant last 10 minutes, even if i dont have a loaded gun
