its a bit of a pain to see my notification thingy get a few numbers that are not related to PMs...please make it go away, not that it matters, cuz it will change again in the next few days

Let me see if that is something that I can configure or not.

This is an ALL or NOTHING option.

If I turn it off, there will be NO NOTIFICATION at all, and you can not turn it on for one person at a time.

Right now this provides some pretty positive feedback to the majority of our members that are not huge posters. When they post something, they actually get told that someone appreciated their post. I would think that is likely to encourage more of our members to participate...
