Help Working on my sled

So it has 151 rails then? If so then yes about the max you can get out of it would be 153 without extensions.

Honestly I'd look into a challanger extreme, or a series 4 if you can find one of them, they are both a much more well rounded track.

The A20 is great in pure powder but trenches, in the "hill climb position" it climbs like a goat but is a total toboggan ride down hill. and in spring conditions it is not a good track at all if you ask me due to the toboggan ride in "HC position" or a really bad lack of traction in the other direction are both amplified in stiff snow.

yeah the challanger Extreme extreme seems like a pretty good deal. All i really care about is powder performace. I really never ride trails and only go snowmobiling after it snows. Once the snow stops the season stops for me.
Since i'm only running the 153 i really want something that will do well in the fluff. that is priority number 1.
I couldn't care less about on trail performace. From some reading i see that the challanger Extreme has a tendencey to trench in fluff until it hits some setup snow. This is my only hang up. I find this difficult to believe because of the amount of people running and loving this track. I have been on a sled that trenched in powder for the last four seasons so i have no interest in going though anything like that again. What do you think about the powder ability oof this track?
The tobboggan effect of the A-20 is def a detering factor. I have read that from others as well. makes it to dangerous.
Seems like the PC is alround good track for what i want. Good float and good rail. What is it that this track doesn't do well? It also weighs alittle less then the others and anytime i can shave some wieght off the 900 is nice.

Thanks

The exteme might trench a tad more than say a regular challanger or a comparable series 4 or 5.1. However, that skid that you are putting under the sled will more than compensate for that difference once you have it set up. The single biggest thing to help with trenching (outside of suspension setup) is throttle control. Gearing, and clutching will make that easier. Keeping your enguagement low along with gearing it down will greatly improve the trenching.

Good info thanks. $300 is almost half of what i'll pay for he pc. Was wondering if you knew if i need to buy a helix for the ts-004 or the ts-98? How can i tell which i have? i read some where that the o4 has 4 bolt and the 98 has 8.

Thanks
