help with running boards

just about to install a set of snow eliminators and need to know if i should cut out where each opening will be or if i should just make one cut for all the holes? what have you done?

I've done it both ways and one giant hole sure is easier and faster. It doesn't seem to weaken anything either. Just did some Mtn. Tuff boards on my sons RMK 600 155 it was a breeze, I just wish they would have included black rivets for the black boards???

I cut individule holes on my REV. I also cut down the first two grips as they trapped my boots--much easier to do before you install the SEs.

one big hole works easiest, makes you nervous, but works well...make sure and get it fit well, so that it is snug against the side of the tunnel...

Just cut one big hole for your boards it is way easier than chasing small holes. and there are certain companies that have black rivets with black boards or you can paint them on the sled.

One big hole for me too. I riveted every cross peace, and 3 across the wide end and 2 on the narrow end. No problems.

Yup on Gen II i just cut a hole at the front of the runnign boards, and i kick the snow out, but the running board cooler helps keep it from building up that bad.
