Hey guys! I have an 07 summit x with an 800R. I am losing some power I think, and sometimes when I let off, I get sdome rpm hang. What I mean is I let off the throttle and rpms stay at like 6k. Bushing in the primary is within spec, swapped secondary to a brand new known good one, and cleaned primary as well. What are everyones thoughts?

Check for air leaks....especially around PTO seal and reed boots.. Pull clutch and check crank runout too.

Lots of rev's ended up with a high hanging idle,some put in larger pilot jets,but the problem is with the carb slides being worn,i had this problem and replaced the carb slides and the sled was good again no hanging idle.
mines an 04, and the slides a really worn out, you can hear them rattling around haha and it has a bad hanging idle, but an 07.... id be kinda surprised if they were wore out. like they said, check for air leaks. use some starting fluid and spray it around the carb boots while its idling and see if the rpms change. and spray it around the pto seal.
